Insert your own joke about getting 'hammered'...

Thor’s Tipi Bar, which made its Leeds debut in Victoria Gardens outside the Art Gallery last year, is confirmed to be returning throughout this year’s festive season.

The tipi bar started life in York, and references the City’s well-known viking heritage with Nordic decor, wooden communal seating, and open fire pits, as well as a bar selling festive drinks like mulled wine and boozy hot chocolate, as well as decent beers from local breweries like North Brewing Co.

Unsurprisingly, the concept of getting drunk and being warm proved popular, and it spread to Sheffield and Leeds last winter, with over 50,000 people attending during its 6-week stint in Leeds - this year it’s going even further; to Hull, Lincoln, and Leeds’ 2023 rivals Milton Keynes.

“We are really excited to be returning to Leeds and are confident that this year will be even more spectacular.” says Amanda Monaghan, co-founder of THOR’s. “So, start your festive season in style and join us to enjoy a unique atmosphere under candlelit canvas, with a roaring log fire and the perfect festive atmosphere.”

Thor’s will be open daily from Friday 17 November until Sunday 31 December, between 11:30am and 10pm, except on Christmas Day (even vikings need a day off…).

You can book your place, including tables around the fire-pit, by emailing conquer@thorstipi.com, calling 01653 610029, or on their reservations page.
