He's coming to Leeds early 2018 as part of a UK arena tour

Manc crooner Morrissey has announced he's hitting the road again, touring UK arenas for the first time since 2015.

The tour will take place throughout next February and March, with a date at Leeds First Direct Arena right in the middle of the tour, which also sees him playing in Birmingham, London, Dublin, and Brighton, among others.

News of the tour follows the recent release of the video for new song Spent The Day In Bed, in which Joey Barton pushes him around in a wheelchair (possibly as part of a community service order)

He's also hopping on the pop-up bandwagon made popular by the likes of Drake and Kanye, with stores in London and LA selling limited pressings of his new album and "exclusive media and merchandise"

The pop-up opens in London at 8am Friday 17 – Sunday 19 November at Provender Building, Camden Market, NW1 8AH, followed with a second at 8250 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90048.

Tickets for the tour go on general release 10am Friday 3 November, but fans who purchase the new album Low In High School from Amazon before midnight on Sunday 29 October will be able to buy them during a 24 hour window on Wednesday 1 November.
