Two weeks. Over 150 events. Begins Monday.
LEEDS Digital Festival, the North’s largest, is back from Monday 16 April with its biggest line-up yet – more than 150 boundary-pushing events.
Such has been its success since launching in 2016 that it has been extended to span over a fortnight this year, to allow companies and universities more opportunity to host citywide events.
It culminates in The Leeds Digital Festival Awards 2018, in association with Amsource Technology and leading law firm, Ward Hadaway.
The awards event will be held at Headrow House on Wednesday 25 April, with the city region’s cutting-edge operators battling it out in five categories: Entrepreneur of the Year, Start-up of the Year, Facilitator of the Year, Tech Innovation of the Year and One to Watch 2018.
Events include the return of festival favourites FinTech North and Code in the Dark, as well as events based around data, healthtech, sports tech and start-ups.
Sponsors and event organisers include the University of Leeds, VST Enterprises, Bruntwood and Sky Betting & Gaming.
The festival offers its own handy innovation in the form of a Messenger Bot. Developed by Home Agency, this sleek tool helps keep attendees in the loop, and will cover all the latest news and events across the fortnight.
