Expect ‘scrap yard slides, circus freaks and jungle bathtubs’ as the cult crazy golf brand opens in September
When it comes to crazy golf, it doesn't get much crazier than a course constructed of 'mostly weird stuff we've found on eBay' - which is apparently where the Junkyard Golf pioneers get most of their stuff.
And clearly punters like putting their way through the likes of UFC bear cages, old ferris wheels and bondage pigs, as the group plans to open their fourth venue at The Light in Leeds this September, following successful launches in Manchester, London and Oxford.
Expect three nine-hole crazy golf courses filled with 'pre-loved shizzle' and no less than four bars, as this boozy bastardised take on golf hits town.
There’ll be bringing their signature offbeat cocktails - including Ribena Turner, Hotline Ting and Porn in the USA, pimped out with tuck-shop treats like party rings and fizzy laces - alongside fairground food like hotdogs, salted caramel and nachos.
Chris Legh, creative director of Junkyard Golf said: “Leeds is an incredibly exciting city, it’s got a real buzz about it and was top of our hit list to open a Junkyard Golf site in.
"The Light is a great venue that works really well for us and we look forward to bringing all the madness of Junkyard Golf to the city this September.”
