The TV chef's fourth restaurant is set to open this Summer.
Gino D’Acampo has unveiled plans to open a new ‘My Restaurant’ venue this June.
Located on Harrogate's Parliament Street, in the previous Bar and Grill lot, Gino’s new venture will be his fourth restaurant, following on from the success of his opening on Leeds’ Park Row just before Christmas.
The Leeds restaurant had its official launch earlier this year, which was attended by ITV friends Phillip Schofield, Holly Willoughby, and Peter Andre, who performed an intimate concert in the restaurant’s basement.
My Restaurant Harrogate is due to open later this year just in time for Summer - giving customers the chance to take advantage of the dining terrace, complete with retractable roof. Set over two floors, it’ll have room for 150 covers, and feature an open kitchen, deli bar, Prosecco bar, and a cocktail bar on the terrace.
Kitted out in My Restaurant’s familiar white marble, washed wood, and turquoise leather, the decor aims to channel Gino’s homeland of Naples, Southern Italy, as does the Aperitivo menu - a style of small-plate, pre-dinner grazing popular in Italy - available between 4pm and 6:30pm.
“After the success of My Restaurant in Leeds I decided that it was Harrogate’s time to get a taste of Gino. I visited Harrogate for the very first time 7 years ago and fell in love with the town’s people, its elegance and its charm. Harrogate is very cool, I want to be part of it!” gushed Gino
Stay tuned for further developments on the restaurant, and any potential surprise renditions of Mysterious Girl.
