The New Zealand duo announce first tour in seven years
Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie - aka Flight of the Conchords - have announced plans to return to the UK with an arena tour next Spring, including a stop-off in Leeds.
The greatest comedy folk duo in the whole wide room will be performing in London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Glasgow, before hitting Leeds First Direct Arena on Tuesday 27 March, then finishing off with a huge show at London's O2 and a final performance at Liverpool's Echo Arena.
As well as their cult HBO show, Flight of the Conchords have two full length LP's which they'll be plucking material from on the tour. Since the show finished in 2009 Bret has gone on to write and supervise the soundtrack for the likes of The Simpsons and The Muppets, and both he and Jemaine have gone on to act on TV and in films.
Earlier this year they confirmed that they're working on a feature length version of the Flight of the Conchords TV show. "The ideas we have are quite different to the TV show." according to Jemaine: "But it’s still music. Still a couple of idiots and another idiot and some music."
Flight of the Conchords play Leeds First Direct Arena on Tuesday 27 March 2018. Tickets available here from 10am Friday 27 October
