Piccolino has launched the city centre’s first wellness-inspired Juicery.
ENJOY green shots, smoothies, juices and expertly created blends Monday to Friday 7am - 12noon. Saturday & Sunday 9am - 3pm in the newly renovated restaurant and bar.
Whether you’re interested in improving your fitness, or keen to discover new flavours, drinks from the Juicery are perfectly balanced. Designed with the help of leading experts like Amelia Freer, super foods like acai berries, turmeric and kale are incorporated into Piccolino’s juices to help you make the most of your day.
If you’re after a caffeine-free wake up call, the Juicery’s Signature ‘Mercer’ contains mango, ginger, carrot and apple. Brighten your day with the ‘Greenwich’ fresh apple, beetroot, and pomegranate and mint juice. You can personalise your drink too; simply ask for coconut water, almond milk, or fresh ginger to create your own nirvana.
Take your pick from Piccolino’s new Juicery menu below. We guarantee you’ll want to try them all.
Expert Goodness Malted Milkshake
Piccolino’s Expert Goodness ranges of juices include blends created with leading experts. Nutritional therapist Amelia Freer and health coach, Katrine Van Wyk have created juices such as the Clean Green Spinach juice (kale, spinach, celery) and Hypnoparadise, which includes blueberries, pea protein, vanilla and almond milk. The Malted Milkshake is another almond milk-based creation - and a healthy alternative to the dairy shake.
Smoothie-style Signature Blends
These 12oz drinks, made from fresh fruit and vegetables have a range of benefits. Sup yourself free of oxidants with the banana, blueberry and acai berry Sunset smoothie, while ‘Melrose’ made from almond milk, mango and bananas is a one-way ticket away from that hangover. The 'Ambrose' is our favourite: a zesty fusion of raspberry, mango, lemon, lime and coconut water polished off with aromatic rosewater.
For those who like their juices unadulterated, shots are the perfect solution. Choose from ginger, lemon and cayenne – a seriously zingy palate awakener – or spicy greens made from kale, broccoli and other secret ingredients. This surprisingly smooth shot is recommended as a coffee substitute and works a treat instead of that morning espresso.
‘Greene’ is a combination of fennel, broccoli, lime, cucumber and apple and offers a gentle introduction to the green juice trend. The menu promises this juice will detox, cleanse and promote radiance. It certainly tastes like health in a glass. Notes of fresh aniseed and grass are complemented by a soothing apple.
Hollywood Signature Juice
Brightly coloured juices contain a wealth of essential vitamins and minerals - and this carrot, orange, turmeric and mint juice is the colour of sunrise. It’s also remarkably drinkable, a smooth, grown-up variation on orange juice.
