And to celebrate, they’re giving away 3000 pizzas
Rudy’s is bringing its laid-back, buzzing pizzeria to Leeds city centre with a new 100 cover restaurant. Since first opening its doors in Ancoats, Manchester back in 2015, Rudy’s has gained a big reputation for top notch Neapolitan pizza. Global travel platform, The Big Seven Travel, named Rudy’s as the 10th best pizza in the world and number three in Europe. Trip Advisor rated them ‘No.1 Pizzeria in the UK’.
Just as you’d find in Naples, Rudy's make their dough on site every day, giving it 24 hours to double ferment and just 60 seconds to cook.
Specialities include ancozzese affumicata, a ‘white pizza’ with chilli flakes, smoked mozzarella, Tuscan sausage, friarielli (wild broccoli) and olive oil, or calabrese with spicy soft Calabrain sausage that melts into the pizza.
The ethos of Rudy’s is as a true independent artisan operator. The restaurants offer a relaxed environment in a stripped back industrial style with passionate Pizzaiolo’s intent on following the traditions and artistry of pizza from Naples – the birthplace of pizza.
Rudy’s Leeds is on 2 New Station Street, LS1 5DL (formally Evans Cycles, opposite the Laynes) and GM Hannah Holmes said: “We can’t wait to open Rudy’s Leeds at the end of February and are inviting you all to try our pizza on us.
“The beauty of Rudy’s is simplicity. For us, it’s all about the pizza and everything we do is to make and serve the best Neapolitan pizza we can. It’s what we do and we can’t wait for you to try it”
To invite people into the new restaurant, just a stone’s throw away from the station, Rudy’s are giving away 3,000 free Neapolitan pizzas. All the people of Leeds need to do is register rudyspizza.co.uk/leeds for a free pizza (terms and conditions apply.)
