Fancy filling out your action figure collection? Head down to Collectorabilia for a treasure trove of ‘geeky and diverse’ merchandise spanning funko pops to comics, consoles and clothing. As well as all the stalls, there will also be a retro gaming room full of classic titles - an easy way to while away a Sunday.

LATRICE ROYALE | Leeds University Union | Thursday 11 April
An undisputed fan favourite of Ru Paul’s Drag Race, queen ‘chunky but funky’ Latrice Royale returns to the UK for a show that blends song and dance numbers with her trademark finger-snapping wit. Strictly 14+, fans can purchase meet and greets with the star before the show.

ART SCHOOL FOR REBEL GIRLS | Pavilion | 12-18 April
An exhibition entirely produced by young women of the Carr Manor Community School and The Co-Operative Academy of Leeds, Art School demonstrates the power of youth voices when expressed creatively. Taking in animation, print and sculpture, it’s an inspirational visit for people of all ages, and an opportunity to learn more about the on-going project.

RECORD STORE DAY 2019 | Jumbo Records | Saturday 13 April
Celebrate your local independent music store with the National Record Store Day. Queue early to snag limited edition vinyl releases, but stick around from midday to enjoy a beer from Kirkstall Brewery and live sets from Bang Bang Romeo, Talkboy and more.

Oporto’s fave vegan eatery teams up with Californian Brewery Stone in this follow up to August’s sold-out supper club. Championing northern American culture, the five dishes and accompanying drinks will be taking inspiration from ‘stoner’ cinema (think The Big Lebowski), including optional dishes prepared with legal CBD. We think this’ll be a popular one…

If the idea of a traditional 5k run does nothing for you, why not throw in some bubbles? Open to families and individuals, each Bubble Rush kilometre is marked by a cannon of rainbow bubbles, piling up to 4ft and manned by a trained team of ‘bubble masters’. What’s more, all proceeds go to St Gemma’s Hospice.
