Handmade Christmas comes to Liverpool with the largest arts and crafts market in Merseyside landing in one of the finest neo-classical buildings in the world, St George’s Hall.

There's music from the Liverpool Ukulele Orchestra, DJs, kids' workshops to get them out of your way for a bit, elves and food too, from the Can Cook Cafe.

Over 150 artists, designers and makers will be offering an alternative to the high street, with a wide variety of creations available including intricate jewellery, original screen prints, paintings, tableware, beauty products, colourful decorations, accessories, textiles, photography, knitwear and more.

Keith Francis Smith has been dubbed by the press a ‘Master of Watercolour’. His paintings often feature Liverpool buildings and parks, which are finely detailed. He will be selling original paintings and limited edition prints.

Chris Turrell-Watts (aka Jigger and Jolly) is a local artist who makes one off and small run batch ceramic sculptures, musical clouds and intricate lace inspired terracotta tea light holders. He uses clay in unexpected ways creating unusual objects that are humorous and desirable.

some of his work, anyway) Lisa Robson makes handcrafted and printed work featuring iconic imagery and imaginative illustrations using ink, embroidery and appliqué. She will be selling her prints, cards and bold textile creations including bags and Christmas decorations.
 
Sarah Gallagher Hayes creates hand made unique willow sculptures. Different colours of willow is woven, creating everything from people to willow stars and hearts to stags, dogs and cats to living willow forms that are functional as seating areas and archways.
 
Karen Edwards (aka KECS Creative) is a designer and illustrator who practice involves printmaking, collage, handmade papers and books. She’ll have a stall at the Winter Arts Market but will also be working along Caroline Scott delivering the Children’s Christmas Workshops.
