North West brewery sets up two month bar to encourage customers down to the docks

Seven Bro7hers Brewing Co will be fronting a two-month pop-up on Princes Dock from Friday (22 September) to play host to after-work drinks, nearby residents and encourage footfall on the redeveloped Liverpool Waters.

The North West brewery, which also has four sites across Greater Manchester and is in the process of crowdfunding a £500,000 ‘forever home’, will set up on a 100-capacity unit near to the cruise shipping docking centre at the far end of Princes Dock.

The location is one that we foresee being busy and thriving, and we hope to see it become a residents favourite and a ‘go to’

The 8-week stint will see Seven Bro7hers host regular events including ‘Thirsty Thursdays’, a weekly networking for nearby businesses; Bloc Party, for residents in local complexes and Oktoberfest.

With a bustling beerhouse already established in Wolstenholme Square, the brewery hopes its reputation for top class beers will get customers down to the docks for a few waterside pints.

CEO Keith McAvoy said: “We’ve been welcomed by the Liverpool community with our beerhouse in the city centre, and we’re excited to keep serving Liverpool residents, visitors and businesses with this new pop up.

“Collaborating with the team at Liverpool Waters and joining great hospitality businesses nearby like Moose Coffee and Bean is another great step for us as we continue to grow and expand our brewery.

“The location is one that we foresee being busy and thriving, and we hope to see it become a resident’s favourite and a ‘go to’ for businesses and those looking to find a new space to enjoy a beer or two beside the water.”

With the brewery taking on a prime spot alongside new apartments, offices, retail and leisure spots, Development Director at Liverpool Waters, Chris Capes, hopes it will see the waterfront begin to buzz with long-overdue life.

Chris said: “This latest activation at Princes Dock will complement our existing offering and we look forward to welcoming residents, local businesses and other visitors from both the Liverpool region and further afield to sample our exciting new space.

“The Liverpool Docks is not only a huge tourist attraction but it covers so much of the city’s waterfront and this partnership with SEVEN BRO7HERS will offer another opportunity to enjoy all that we have to offer here at Liverpool Waters”
