Fazenda Bar & Grill Liverpool have teamed up with Manchester Camerata and Chandon Wines to bring an evening of art, music and fine wine to Liverpool.
The two will play an eclectic range of music whilst Argentine painter Hernan Ricaldoni performs a live art show, creating a painting inspired by the music
‘A Stroke of Tango’ will feature a performance from award-winning musicians, violinist Caroline Pether and cellist Simon Turner of Manchester Camerata. Pether has won awards such as the Chandos Young Musician of the Year and the RNCM Concerto Competition, resulting in a performance of the Sibelius Violin Concerto in Bridgewater Hall.
Turner has also played for audiences at The Bridgewater Hall, performing for prestigious orchestras such as The Hallé and The BBC Philharmonic.
The two will play an eclectic range of music ranging from classics by Paganini and Piazzolla to more recent hits by Eric Clapton, while Argentine painter Hernan Ricaldoni performs a live art show, creating a painting inspired by the music.
Fazenda Bar & Grill, known for its 15 different freshly-grilled joints of meat, cooked ‘churrascaria’-style (‘from the barbecue’) will expand its restaurant into the main square of Exchange Flags for the day with a pop-up bar and outdoor seating area, giving the event a relaxed festival feel.
Chandon wines, the sponsor for the event, will be showcasing some of its finest Argentinian sparkling wines, and Fazenda Bar & Grill have created a special Chandon cocktail for the occasion.
The event is open to the public and will take place on Saturday 20 June. Doors will open at 5.30pm for a performance which will run from 6pm - 7.30pm. Fazenda Bar & Grill and Manchester Camerata are inviting people from around Liverpool to come and enjoy the evening.
Bob Riley, Chief Executive of Manchester Camerata, said, “This is going to be an amazing event, where we are delighted to showcase two of our hugely talented musicians to what, we hope, will be a packed Liverpool audience.”
