Interactive masterclasses by special guests, giving you the chance to sharpen your culinary skills
Promising to be an unmissable summer event, the new food and drink festival takes over Albert Dock on the weekend of 7 and 8 September. Think foodie stalls for visitors to sample the wares of Docksiders and interactive masterclasses by special guests, giving you the chance to sharpen your culinary skills.
Set in the heart of Liverpool’s UNESCO World Heritage Site waterfront and home to some of the city’s most popular independents, including Maray and Lunyalita (reviewed here), and restaurant chains such as Rosa’s Thai Cafe (reviewed here), Albert Dock is decent setting for a food and drink festival.
Feast is free to attend and marks the fifth week of the Summer On The Dock programme, with lots of live entertainment and fun for the whole family, including children’s cookery workshops, street theatre performance and storytime sessions.
Andi says, ‘It’s so exciting to be part of such an innovative event at the iconic Albert Dock. Every time I visit Liverpool I fall in love a little bit more with the city. I’m genuinely impressed with the diverse food and drink scene and friendly people, so it’s an honour to headline this new festival which I’m sure will be a huge success.’
