Seasonal takeover includes festive eats and treats, plus the Good Liverpool Market
WHAM’S Last Christmas is one of our favourite festive feels of the season, so when we heard that an Alpine Village was popping up on Duke Street, we couldn’t wait to get on the piste and recreate those Swiss ski resort vibes.
Entertainment includes retro-ski-themed runway shows, ski shots and o-piste performers
Serving Yuletide cheer from now until the end of December, PINS Social Club has transformed its rooftop bar into a cosy winter retreat. Start by taking a lift-pass to The Roof to visit the snow-capped summit of PINS’ winter celebrations, decked with garlands of spruce and fir, twinkling fairy lights, and some serious Christmas tree action.
Seating up to 400 under a heated and retractable roof, guests can enjoy table service from the chalet team, while snuggling down with cosy throws.
Rocco’s Deli and Diner are cooking up a host of festive eats and treats, including gourmet Bratwurst dogs, baked gooey Camembert, hearty Tartiflette, warm apple strudel and indulgent chocolate brownies.
A seasonal a la carte menu of burgers, bites and sides is also available in the ground floor diner, with seasonal spins on traditional favourites including the Juicy Lucy Turkey Burger with stuffing and cranberry, and the homemade vegan nut roast burger, served with vegan cheese, onions and vegan gravy.
Cocktails and winter warmers feature heavily on the drinks menu, with spiced mulled wine, Snow Cones, and gin experts Sipsmith popping up with their very own Hot Gin Bar. If you’re a hot chocolate fan, you can also check out PINS’ indulgent hot orange and cacao.
PINS have partnered with Good Market Liverpool who will be bringing a sleigh load of Liverpool’s best and brightest independent retailers, offering original and unique Christmas gift ideas.
The Good Market Liverpool will be at PINS on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 November; Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 December; Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 December; and Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 December.
All of PINS usual activities are bookable over the festive period, and guests can enjoy the fun of afternoon and evening bowling, plus a huge choice of challenging table games before sloping down to the main bar to join the after-dark Après Club, with live bands and DJs.
Evening entertainment will see retro-ski-themed runway shows, disco dancers, an array of ski shots and o-piste performers every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, wrapping up the evening with a bang.
PINS Alpine Village on the roof is open Thursdays and Fridays 5pm - 11pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12pm - 11pm. Bookings are now live.
