When evening falls our twinkling lights make City Wine Bar + Kitchen even more atmospheric. Our beautiful Grade II Listed building on Old Hall Street is a gorgeous place to call in for a glass of wine, or a bottle.
As you’d expect for a place called City Wine Bar, we have a carefully-chosen selection of sparkling, white, red, rosé and natural orange wines with most available by the glass. But we also serve cocktails, draught beer, bottled beer, cider and softs.
Did you know we also serve food? People come to us for our wine but then stay for nibbles like flatbreads and hummus or courgette bhajis with mango chutney and poppadoms.
It’s not just snacks and light bites though – we have a full menu of good honest food sourced from local suppliers who share the same values we do.
Do you know what goes beautifully with that bottle of Merlot you were going to order? Steak frites. Enjoy them together for a perfect evening at City Wine Bar + Kitchen. It can’t be beaten.
Or can it? Chicken katsu curry and a bottle of Austrian Gruner Veltliner makes for a pretty perfect evening too. And a bottle of Prosecco with a plate of fish and chips feels pleasingly posh.
