City Wine Bar + Kitchen is a beautiful place to enjoy beautiful wines and food. Our Grade II Listed building on Old Hall Street is full of character and our food is honest and unstuffy but made with quality ingredients. As for our wines, they’re at the heart of everything we do.
We offer a carefully curated selection of our favourite wines from around the world at a price that’s fair and we make sure that there are plenty to enjoy by the glass too.
You’ll also find a range of bottled and draught beers as well as classic cocktails, done properly.
Enjoy an uncomplicated menu of bar favourites, from charcuterie boards to steak frites, Caesar salad to fish finger butties, cheeseburgers to scouse and everything in between.
There are veggie options, vegan options and gluten free options. We’re proud of our food – it’s simple but sublime and we make it ourselves with the best produce we can get our hands on. Our Sunday Roast is a thing to behold.
As well as being the local neighbourhood bar you’re looking for with a buzz every day from 12pm – late, you can also book wine tastings or hire our intimate venue for all sorts of events, from weddings to birthdays.
