DRAMATIC star Maxine Peake will be answering audience questions at FACT next week, after an exclusive preview screening of her new film,

Keeping Rosy is a Hitchcock-style thriller which co-stars Blake Harrison (Neil from The Inbetweeners). In it, Bolton-born Peake, 40, plays Charlotte, a woman who is completely defined by her career.

"All Charlotte wants from life is to be cut a slice of the business which she has devoted herself to building, but the fragility of her perfect existence is exposed when she finds out that she has been betrayed in the boardroom. As her life disintegrates, we follow her on a heart-racing journey of self discovery, atonement and danger as she attempts to fight for her future."

The performance by the former Shameless star, who first appeared in Victoria Wood's Dinnerladies after graduating from RADA, has already been described as "outstanding" and "superb".
