GROTTOS aren't just for Christmas - and photo opportunities with giant white rabbits are not just for the Lord Mayor of Liverpool - although you wouldn't know it.
Here Councillor Gary Millar is the first to meet and greet a biggun ahead of the opening of the Easter Bunny Parade at St George's Hall this weekend.
The new Easter Grotto experience will run there throughout the very long school Easter holidays which bein now and run until Monday April 21, Easter Monday.
The Easter Bunny Parade is an enchanting Easter holiday treat for the whole family to enjoy, it says here.
It sees a walk-through trail within the the former law courts which are transformed into Easter Bunny Land. On route the parade is filled with over 17 delightful animatronic fairy-tale scenes telling an Easter story and will lead the way to the finale.
Councillor Millar said: “This is a really exciting new initiative from St George's Hall which is going to delight children -and maybe a few adults -over the Easter period.
He apparently added: "It is an egg-citing attraction.”
The organisers have also included a themed interactive activity to keep the children fully entertained during their time in the hall, including a game to find out the names of some of the characters along the route.
*St George's Hall Easter Bunny Parade, Saturday 5th - Monday 21st April, (Closed Good Friday). Every day from 10am to 5pm . Admission £6.00 per child (includes photo and Easter egg). Max 2 adults FREE with each paying Child. Tickets are available from St George’s Hall Heritage Centre on St Johns Lane on the day.
