The brands have joined forces to throw a fundraising Summer Solstice party in the heart of the city
On 21 June, Spanish Caravan and Karisimbi Rum will come together to celebrate the longest day of the year in true party style, transforming the Salter Street venue into a full-blown beach.
The 'Summer Solstice Beach Party' has been organised by trail blazers in the underground music scene - Savage PNP, NEX GEN, and Raise The Bar. Expect a wide range of up-and-coming DJs and artists, including Copdat, P3LZ, Ali T, Millie Whitestone and more, providing a diverse lineup of underground rap, R&B and Afrobeat sounds.
Liverpool's own Raggas Caribbean will be serving street food with soul to pair arm in arm with a selection of handcrafted cocktails made in collaboration with Karisimbi Rum. The brand, known for its trio of white rum, spiced rum and golden rum blends sourced from Dominican Republic, Barbados and Jamaica, was created as a 'tribute to nature'.
Environmental stewardship is at the heart of the brand's mission, with 10% of profits from every bottle being donated to The Gorilla Organisation - a charity focused on protecting and conserving endangered mountain gorillas population.

Samantha Burke from Karisimbi Rum says: “It’s amazing to be collaborating with Spanish Caravan to give a stage to some incredible young talent as the summer truly kicks off and the rum season begins in earnest. There’s no better place than Liverpool for a party so we’re excited to showcase some great summer serves, beats and beach to get the party started.”
