The floor staff are led by relative newcomer to the Head Server post Meg, who is also In-Store Trainer, or IST, ensuring all new members of staff are trained to the highest standard. She’s in charge of the servers, including Katy, Kate and Sam, recently given a bottle of Prosecco each for being mentioned in so many positive Trip Advisor and Facebook reviews.
The talented bar staff include “Heswall’s favourite scouser” Head Bartender Chris, and Dan, who – when not pouring Peroni – is in charge of organising the staff’s football sweepstakes.
In the Gusto Heswall kitchen are Head Chef, aka “culinary God”, Si; Sous Chefs Aussie Chris and Lee, who’s partial to a double espresso; Junior Sous Chef and pizza expert Richie; Chef de Partie James, and Kitchen Porter Dave.
Then there’s longstanding General Manager Alan, Restaurant Manager Luke, supervisor Addy and Merrill – PA by day, server by night.
