Modo launches new summer party destination in Concert Square
Modo is a Liverpool institution so it stands to reason that Coco Club, their new summer pop-up is the city’s place for sunshine drinking, dining, dancing and plenty more besides.
In partnership with Southern Comfort, Coco Club is open from mid-April right through the summer so lets hope for some glorious sunshine and alfresco cocktails.
There’s a holiday atmosphere with Coco Club inspired by top resorts like Ibiza and Tulum in Mexico. Even the entrance is a tropical gateway with huge bamboo and palm fronds pointing the way to an outdoor paradise.
Join your friends in a beach hut (first come first served for these) or book a booth or a table. Entry to Coco Club at Modo is free every night of the week and there’s even a glass terrace for people-watching, ray-catching and looking down on the Coco Club revellers below.
There’s a menu of summer drinks including cocktails and spritzes and it’s two cocktails for £12 Sunday to Thursday.
There’s also a selection of bombs dropping at Coco Club with all the classic flavours plus premium versions made with AU Vodka - fancy.
It’s not just about the drinks. The much-loved Pizza Miki will be on the boardwalk cooking seasonal pizzas to order with plenty of vegan and vegetarian versions too and you can enjoy a range of themed afternoon brunches. Also, on the square opposite Happily Bubbly Shisha will be piping up with more than 15 flavours for chilling out in the evening sun.
It’s a real party event with DJs in Concert Square every weekend and performers and dancers adding to the atmosphere on selected weekends. Fridays and Saturdays see the party continue until 4am with Modo’s basement club Paradiso continuing the vibes still further.
