Expect giveaways, one-of-a-kind prizes and exclusive signings with two Liverpool creators
Forbidden Planet Liverpool is celebrating its listed building status with a new makeover. The building’s facade has been given a traditionally-styled facelift, combining the power of pop-culture with Liverpool’s world-famous architectural heritage.
An all-day relaunch event celebrating the new look will take place this Saturday (9 August), featuring a variety of activities, giveaways, one-of-a-kind prizes, and even exclusive signing sessions with two superstar Liverpool creators; horror author Ramsey Campbell and the award-winning creator of Anfield Road, Film & TV Director Chris Shepherd.
Ramsey Cambell will be in-store for signings between 2-3pm, with a selection of his acclaimed novels available to purchase on the day, while Chris Shepard will be signing his Liverpool graphic novel Anfield Road (A Story of Coming of Age in 1980s Liverpool) between 3:30-4:30pm - copies are also available to purchase on the day.
The first 100 customers through the door at 9:30am will receive exclusive premium goodie bags packed with collectible merchandise and more. An array of offers will also be available on the day, including 3-for-2 on Manga and 10% off for students and Blue Light Card holders.
All customers who visit on the day are eligible to enter into an exclusive in-store prize draw to win a one-off bundle worth over £300.
