Tops Dart Club is now open in Concert Square

Ladies and gentlemen - LET’S PLAY DARTS!!! If you’re looking for something a bit different for your next night out, and an activity that isn’t dependent on the crappy British weather, there’s a new venue on Bold Street which might hit the target.

Cheers Big Ears has already brought its own sense of fun and laid back attitude to Bold Street.

The team behind Pub Invest Group have opened a darts club above Cheers Big Ears, formerly The Crafty Chandler. Bridging Bold Street and Concert Square, Cheers Big Ears has already established itself as a lively party venue, featuring high end cocktails and beers, weekend DJs and a destination to visit for all sports viewing.

Tops Dart Club has its own dedicated space as an interactive games floor, offering digital darts with individual lanes. The guys behind Pub Invest Group, which now boasts more than 30 bar and nightlife venues in its portfolio including Soho, Level, Largo, and the new look Zanzibar, say that the new darts club will continue the same levels of service that its other leisure and nighttime establishments have become known for.

Philip Gillespie, head of marketing for the group said, “Cheers Big Ears has already brought its own sense of fun and laid back attitude to Bold Street, which retains its own unique eclectic blend of bars, restaurants and retail outlets, which we are really proud to be a part of.

“Opening Tops Dart Bar directly upstairs from Cheers made perfect sense to us, to make the best use of such a valuable space. We wanted to carry the Cheers Big Ears vibe up there with us, and we know that customers will find it to be a really relaxing space in this busy, beating heart of our city.

"We hope the combination of daiquiris and darts will make sure fans of an easy day or evening out will return to us again.

“As a group, we are so glad to see our own venues, and everyone in our industry, back open fully, busy and preparing for a very fruitful summer season ahead.”

With a cocktail menu that includes frozen cocktails such as the Southside Fizz and Little Mango Daiquiri, the interactive dart board experience could prove to be a very different and entertaining night - or day - out. It’s £5 for a frozen cocktail at all times, and an introductory offer of £7 per person to play an hour of interactive darts.

The food menu at Cheers Big Ears will be introduced within the next couple of weeks and will serve up a roster of snacks, mains and light bites, complemented by a wide selection of beers, spirits, wines and cocktails.
