Good American denim recently launched in Selfridges, L'Oréal Blackett puts them through the squat test
No matter what your stance on the Kardashians (and we all have varying opinions), we can probably all agree that the reality TV moguls know a thing or two about curves.
And it’s been a matter of public curiosity for a while now - how do they fit their extreme pear-shaped physiques into super skin tight skinny jeans?
But then if we were voluptuous multi-millionaires - both big in bum and in pocket - we'd probably design a jean line to fit our body type too.
Anyway, we approached Khloe Kardashian’s Good American denim line with a great deal of confidence. After much anticipation, the youngest of the three Kardashian sisters has recently launched her collection of jeans, denim shorts and jackets exclusively to Selfridges.
The denim line which features super skinny fit jeans has, as expected, drawn most of its customer base from celebrity affiliation. It's also not surprising to learn that Good American hit the $1 million dollar mark on its first day of sales, breaking denim retail records.
Still, if we ignore the Kardashian name for a second, we do have to ask ourselves: are these jeans actually any good?
After all, they're not cheap and cost in the region of £135 - £180. For that price, we expect skinny jeans that don't take Olympian strength to pull on, no chafing, to fit both our bums and waists, and, most importantly, to look good on every woman. With jeans spanning size zero to 28 here in the UK, it appears that's the Good American aim.
Heading to Selfridges, L'Oréal Blackett gives Good American jeans the squat test.
