THE Foodies Festival at Tatton Park is three days of food-obsessed fun on 14, 15 and 16 July 2017.
It's the UK's biggest food festival, which means they bring in the big names, and deliver an impressive line-up of activities spanning vegan baking to chilli eating competitions to kids cookery sessions.
Bake Off stars top the line-up at the UK's biggest food festival
Topping the bill is Bake Off winner Candice Brown and TV chef Rosemary Shrager who'll be sharing tips and advice for home cooks. MasterChef Winner 2016 Jane Devonshire will also be there. And there'll be a good spread of local names too, including Lisa and Helen Tse from Sweet Mandarin and Corrie star turned cheesemaker Sean Wilson.
In the Cakes and Desserts Theatre, Bake Off's Ugne Bubnaityte will demonstrate some of her healthy living and guilt free recipes, while over in the Drinks Theatre, there's wine tasting with TV's Charles Metcalfe, plus workshops on beer matching. In the Kids Cookery Theatre, youngsters can experiment with science-inspired recipes including bread bubble bombs and carbon dioxide rockets.
There'll be a bustling artisan food market where you can gather together a feast of locally baked, locally grown, locally produced goodies. And you when it's time for a breather, head over to the Vintage Tea Tent for afternoon tea, or sip on mojitos from the Appleton Estate Rum Bus.
They've also got a 'well being area' (details to be announced soon) and a live music stage featuring the best unsigned musicians.
You might not describe yourself as a 'foodie' but if you're reading this website, you probably are one, whether you like the word or not. And this, foodies, is your festival. Tickets are £10-£14 (under 12s go free).
