Open auditions for Disneyland character actors take place this weekend
Are you sick of tying your hair into a messy bun yourself every morning, rather than getting woodland creatures to finesse it into style while you tra-la-la about some lad? Do you fancy being a princess, but not keen on the prospect of crimping out three (and counting) posh babies?
You’re in luck - Disneyland is hiring character actors for their Disneyland park, and auditions are being held in Leeds this weekend.

To celebrate the park’s 25th anniversary, Disney’s recruitment drive is looking for enthusiastic people between 4’8” and 5’, and 5’10” and 6’4” to play some of the most iconic roles in cinema history.
Previous experience as a Disney character isn’t essential (phew), but previous acting work would be a bonus. Potential candidates must be 18, fluent in English or French ( not just put on a dodgy accent like Ewan McGregor as Lumiere), and most importantly, be able to hear “Let It Go” without flying into a murderous fit of rage.
If you fancy your chances for one of the 20 full-time or 20 seasonal contracts, grab a CV head down to Yorkshire Dance this Sunday at 10am.
