STEWART LEE was recently described as an utter disgrace. His laconic stand-up routine “totally evil propaganda. Offensive, biased, untrue and unfunny”.
The round condemnation came from one Patricia Culligan, Parliamentary Candidate for Eastleigh representing UKIP (remember them?). It might have something to do with this clip, here.
His current tour of A Room With A Stew is a work in progress towards the material for the fourth (and possibly final) series of BBC2's triple BAFTA nominated Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle to be transmitted in 2016.
But here's a thing: the tour sees him perform the entirety of the last three series (over four hours) for a live audience for the very last time. Here in Liverpool that means a two night residency at the Philharmonic Hall on Tues/Wed June 2 and June 3.
Liverpool audiences love Lee. His last visit to the esteemed Hope Street venue back in 2013 was a sell-out.
So today we have an exceptional prize up for grabs for one lucky Liverpool Confidential-reading superfan:
1 x pair of tickets to either the June 2 or June 3 show.
1 x Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle Series 3 new DVD (Standard Edition)
1 x The Alternative Comedy Experience Season Two DVD
1 x Stewart Lee Carpet Remnant World DVD
No splitting it up, the winner takes it all.
