LIVERPOOL’S Spring Festival goes back to the wild this month. Learn crucial survival skills like foraging, building dens and - more importantly - making beer as the popular Food, Drink and Lifestyle Festival hits Sefton Park on the weekend 23-24 April.

As well as expert advice for budding brewers, courtesy of local company Love Brewing, visitors can learn the process of gin making with Ginvinity and Riverside Gin. Plus, Allerton Road’s Buffalo Phill will be bringing his own travelling barber and beard grooming shop so you can get spruced up in between rounds of boozing.

Of course, there’ll be plenty more wholesome activities on offer too. The festival site will feature five themed areas, including: the Woodlands, featuring rural crafts and pastimes; the Meadow, a village crammed with the region’s best independent street food operators; and the Pasture, dedicated to creative living. Additional lifestyle zones will focus on home, gardening, body and mind.

Bars, restaurants and producers confirmed to take part in the event include Baoxen Ltd, Little Furnace, Oh So British Street Food, Fudge Factory, French Corner and the Real Thai Pie Co.

What’s more, Liverpool Confidential have two pairs of tickets to give away for this superb spring event.  You can’t say we don’t spoil you…
