PATTERSONS on Gradwell Street started life as a late-night bar, until they clocked that their fried chicken was just popular as their drinks.
Now they're still a bar – with the laid back vibe and boss tunes they always had. But they've got a full food menu
too. It's American diner style – and it's centred on the fried chicken that got them rolling in the first place.
Their chicken is brined in their secret recipe of herbs and spices for 24 hours to take the flavour and texture to another level. It's then soaked in buttermilk and dusted in flour before being fried to perfection.
By all accounts, the chicken at Pattersons is something very special. And in this competition, you can win as much of it as you can eat, and a bucket of beers to wash it down. The prize is for two people. Arrive hungry.
