JOHN Bishop will be performing at The Slaughter House on Wednesday 12th September for one night only.

He may be a giant these days, but even a stadium comic needs a warm-up gig and you can join John for this exclusive, one-off intimate comedy club event as he tries out brand new material to the lucky ticket-holders, in advance of his Liverpool Echo Arena dates early next month.

'Delighted'

Last year, John performed to over 400,000 fans in a nationwide sell-out tour, topped the charts with the fastest selling stand up DVD of all time and with his primetime BBC One show John Bishop’s Britain regularly broadcasting into the homes of over 6.5 million viewers he really is a ‘Comedy Superstar’.

Paula Harrington, director of Laughterhouse Comedy, said “We are absolutely delighted to have John Bishop perform this exclusive pre-Arena gig at the Slaughter House. John played here many times on his rise to fame and always loved the venue, this will be a Laughterhouse night to remember.”

John’s support will be Chris Cairns. Chris has gained a reputation for being able to handle the toughest of rooms with his sharp put-downs in addition to being known as a friend to the audience, but a deadly foe to the heckler.  Chris was also the winner of the Eric Morecambe Comedian of The Year (2002) and Liverpool Comedian of The Year (2003).
