SHIA LaBeouf is known for many things - Indiana Jones and Transformers, and some more a bit outside the box.

Now the Hollywood actor is asking you to 'TOUCH HIS SOUL' and he is doing it in Liverpool.

LaBeouf is currently sitting in FACT, Wood Street, taking calls as part of the exhibition Follow.

The exhibition explores what impact the internet is really having on how we think about ourselves and those around us.

#TOUCHMYSOUL sees LeBeouf answering the phone and asking people to do exactly what it says after the hash symbol: y'know TOUCH HIS SOUL. It's certainly caught the imagination and the hashtag is now trending on social media.

The point of the exhibition is to ask how can people truly connect across networks. The performance is commissioned by FACT and is attempting to bring those connections into focus and to capture what happens in the moment.

The 29-year-old LA-born star whose mentor and "second dad" Jon Voight has been filming Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, in Liverpool, is joined by performance artists and collaborators Nastja Säde R&ouml and Luke Turner.

The trio will be based at FACT over the next four days.

You can view a livestream of the performance and tap into the conversation at touch-my-soul.net.

Or for even better LOLs, pick up and call him yourself on +44 (0151 808 0771) between the hours of 11am – 6pm.

Ask him what he's wearing, or tell him his cows are out in the lane.
