UPDATE: 13.55 August 11, 2015 from Facebook: "A big thank you to you all for your help in finding Mathan. He has rang and is in southport and on his way home. Thank you for your help".

POLICE are appealing for help in tracking down a schoolboy from north Liverpool who has been missing for four days.

Nathan Holmes, aged 14, is described as a "high risk" missing person because of his young age.

He was last seen in Stanley Park last Thursday (August 6)  after disappearing from home in Ellerslie Road, Tuebrook, earlier in the day.

Nathan is well known in the Blundellsands and Crosby area where he went to Sacred Heart Catholic College until last year. He is also known to have links to Bootle and Southport.

Nathan is described as white, around 6ft 1ins tall, with short brown hair. He was wearing a black tracksuit top, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers when he was last seen.

Police say that due to his young age he is regarded as a high-risk missing person and officers are appealing for the public’s help in finding him.

Anyone who thinks they have seen Nathan recently or has any information about where he is should call Merseyside Police on 101.
