We have a new menu with some exciting new additions whilst old favourites have had a real glow-up. But don’t worry, that informal dining style you all know and love is here to stay with sociable sharing dishes, pizzas, bar snacks and desserts.
Highlights include the quattro ‘nduja macaroni with a real depth of taste and dish-defining cheesy pull. Fred’s meatballs have also had a recipe upgrade with a rich new sauce.
Veggie dishes don’t disappoint either. The homemade baba ganoush and hummus plate makes a perfect bar snack or starter, served with fresh pillowy flatbreads and baby balsamic onions. Make sure you try the courgette and pecorino butter beans - with layer upon layer of flavour, they’re absolutely irresistible.
Making a return for summer in the pizza part of the menu is Fred’s Fiorentina. It was one of the first pizzas we served when we opened our doors back in 2013 and it’s always a classic. Newcomers include two meat-free pizzas - a courgette pizza with pesto and chilli flakes and a blue cheese pizza on an onion base with mozzarella and crispy onions.
Our drinks menu has had a makeover too. Inside you’ll find a brand new section on spritzes, any of which are served in refreshing two-pint pitchers. Flavours include watermelon, lychee and a grown-up take on Ribena made with sloe gin and creme de cassis.
Our frozen strawberry daiquiri and Freddies Fling with its mix of apricot, gin, Cocchi Americano and pineapple are what you’re going to be drinking all summer long.
There’s also more choice than ever before on the alcohol-free part of our menu with fresh 0% cocktails, beers and fruit ciders as well as Lyre’s classic alcohol-free spirits.
