What does Santa bring the little girl who has everything? My Little Pony? A sweet dolly?
How about one of these Bratz dolls, reclaimed and reinvented by artist Tristan Brady Jacobs. She can tell her therapist all about it in 25 years time.
These excellent and witty reinventions and more will be on sale at the Static Sunday Market this weekend.
He says: "Bratz and Barbies cry out for a little upscaling in their ambition. No longer do they want the perfect french trim or bodywax, when I have finished with them they guard the cemetery gates for Baron Samedi with their own army of the undead, or lurk in dreams to ambush the monsters of our ID.
"My Little Ponies become the victors of backyard bareknuckle (hoof) bouts, a wry smile on their faces beneath the blood and bruises.
"The hard-bodied heads of daby-dolls are decorated with Mexican wrestler masks, fetish patterning and more voodoo sensibility. I am an artist who loves to tinker with our memories and our emotional attachment to plastic fetishes and to create objects which share power with the gods and are only one step from the vast stinking landfill of our dreams."

Once upon a time you could be prosecuted for putting a stamp on a letter upside down. Now anything goes.
In its effort to promote the post, the Post Office is bringing Christmas cheer to Liverpool this weekend with the city’s first ever Pop-up Post Office Christmas Stamp Shop.
Between Friday and Sunday, the Post Office Christmas Stamp Shop in Liverpool One will roll up and unfold with its very own interactive and personalised Smilers stamp booth, allowing customers to make their own stamps for their loved ones this Christmas. People can capture and share a special moment as it is made into a fully functional stamp.
And remember, no mooning.

THERE is a chance to immortalise the part your great-great granddad played in the Kaiser's downfall with the day-long launch of a new project this Saturday.
Merseyside At War 1914-1918 is backed by Liverpool John Moores University. Historians have created a ‘Living Archive’ and they want you to help fill it.
Anything from letters sent home from the front; photographs of soldiers and officers, their spouses, friends and families; birth certificates and records to posters that were displayed around Merseyside at the time.
You may have a medal that a relative won or even some clothes from the period... whatever you have, they would like to hear about it.
Merseyside at War 1914-1918 is launched by Lord David Alton and Prof Frank McDonough this Saturday (Nov 30) with a free, all day event that includes readings of war poetry, lectures and more. It won't be boring, check our the Prof's twitter feed for everything you ever wanted to know about well, everything in punchy charismatic style.

Things to eat this weekend
Fish in Brown Bear bitter batter. Add a generous mound of thick-cut chips, skin just a little bit on, with good home made mushy peas and tartare sauce and curry sauce on a great big serving platter. £8.50
The fish was the star - a thick, gleaming, satisfying hulk in a shattering light batter made from ale brewed on the premises.
