NEW tradeexhibition, Barcode Expo is challenging some of the region's best bartenders to design a bespoke cocktail using Crabbie's Light as the key mixer.
The competition Sponsored by Crabbie's, will be include four rounds with the first starting at 11.30am before moving on the hotly anticipated semi-finals at 3.30pm and the final winner takes it all round at 4.30pm. The competition is free to attend.
It's a great opportunity to keep an eye on the latest cocktail trends and techniques and maybe even pick up some cocktail recipe ideas.
With an ABV of only 2.8%, Crabbie's Light makes an ideal mixer. It's steeped with real ginger and blended with four secret spices so it's a perfect way of introducing robust flavours to a cocktail whilst making sure it's still an easy-drinker.
It's not all about the cocktails at Barcode Expo. Some of the most exciting drinks brands will be on hand with taste testing seminars to introduce you to a range of new drinks.
Cave direct have beer on the brain and they will be offering samples of a whole host of their favourite imported beers whilst the Wee Tea Company are inviting delegates to come and grab a brew to show off how quality loose leaf teas can really spoil your customers.
