Calling all North West bars, restaurants, hotels and everything in between - Barcode Expo, a brand new trade exhibition for the hospitality industry is coming to town.

On Tuesday 13 October, Liverpool’s Camp & Furnace will be taken over by the best hospitality suppliers in the business - offering decision makers the chance to learn about new products and services that help get customers through the door and coming back for more.

The event will have everything you’d expect from a national trade exhibition, but right here in the North West.

Boasting a seminar programme packed with the people behind the cutting edge technology that is making waves in the industry, Barcode Expo will also give visitors the opportunity to  try out the latest products, take part in a variety of networking events and see new products and services put to the test. There’s also the chance to find some optics inspiration in the spirit zone, and learn how to mix with the best of them in the cocktail flaring bar.

Leading brands such as Molson Coors, Fentimans, Cave Direct, Maxxium and Costco are all confirmed to attend, and there will be a chance to find out about the latest innovations in everything from iced tea to ice cubes and catering equipment to craft beer.

Highlights are set to include:

WATCH: Cocktail Flaring Bar & Demonstration Area

The demonstration and cocktail flaring bar will be a live stage dedicated to drinks brands, and will feature a variety of demos and showcases from brands you’ve heard of and newer businesses who are getting people talking.

TASTE: Tasting Theatre

Giving visitors the chance to put new products to the test - this is the place to sample the latest drinks and snacks and try out the latest equipment.  With demos running every hour, this is the place to learn from the experts about the new products making waves in the industry.

Products being showcased include Mastiha, a sweet, crystal clear liqueur made using the aromatic resin of the mastiha (or mastic) tree - which only grows in the southern part of Chios Island in Greece, and the Wee Tea Company - who are all set to bring about a ‘tea revolution’. Cave Direct, a leading supplier of craft and speciality beers to the UK Drinks Trade will also be giving visitors the chance to try beers from around the world.
