The department store is to celebrate women with a month-long campaign

No, it’s not a typo.

Premium department store Harvey Nichols has rebranded for September, changing its illustrious name to 'Holly Nichols' to celebrate women.

The department store has a long history of supporting women in the workplace. Whilst founder Benjamin Harvey first opened a linen shop in 1831, it was his wife Anne who led the company his death and who forged the famous partnership with James Nichols. The retailer has continued to champion gender equality throughout its business and currently seven of its nine board members are female.

Customers will receive rebranded bags and promotional materials from the Exchange Square store. The global retailer’s website and social media accounts have also been updated to support the name campaign.

Trunk shows, brand parties and talks from inspirational women are all planned throughout September to celebrate the admirable women who influence our culture and change attitudes.
