Getting dressed for Parklife festival means diving head first into a pool of multi-coloured glitter before re-emerging as a sparkling bohemian party animal in cut-off denim shorts and a fanny pack. There are few occasions that call for neon eyebrows, tie-dye hair and glittering foreheads, so why not embrace it?
To help this year’s Parklife revellers do their best Coachella impression at Heaton Park, Manchester Arndale is offering free festival makeovers inside the centre and at Victoria Station this weekend. Did we mention it’s free?
For Manchester's very own Beauty Fest, makeup experts from the likes of NYX Professional, Benefit, Supercuts and Sergeant Caesar will be on hand to create glitter face and body art, hair braiding, flower beards and more (see the full list below).
Those travelling to Parklife and weekend shoppers can visit the pop-up festival in Victoria Station on Saturday 9 June (9am-6pm) and Sunday 10 June (9am-5pm), or head to Manchester Arndale between 12pm and 6pm this Saturday.
Brands taking part this weekend includes: Supercuts, NYX Professional, Benefit, Smashbox, No7, Lush, Decent Cut, L’Oreal, The Body Shop and Sergeant Caesar.
