ACTRESS Jennifer Metcalfe, best known for her long-serving role as Hollyoaks’ Mercedes McQueen, headed to Manchester Arndale this week to launch the shopping centre’s 2016 partywear campaign.
True to the festive season, sequins, velvet and lace were in store for the actress
The TV star took part in a series of fashion shoots and modelled various party looks for the Christmas season chosen by two prominent fashion bloggers; Irena Doc of Irena D World and Lauren Cokguler of Fashion Panic.
With a great eye for trends and personal style, the two Manchester-based bloggers turned their styling hand to dressing Jennifer in party-perfect outfits from Arndale stores, including popular party dress outfitters House Of CB and old faithful Next.

Channelling sophisticated glamour, Lauren opted for a wine-coloured sequinned maxi dress from House Of CB (£129), and a dark green velvet jumpsuit from New Look (£39.99).

Irena picked out a range of curve-enhancing numbers for Jen, including a navy lace dress with see-through panels from Guess, and a green sparkle bodycon dress and black gothic lace dress with sheer sleeves – both from Next.
