MANCHESTER PRIMARK BIGGEST IN THE WORLD: It was always the biggest of the firm’s 257 stores across the world, but now it’s just got even bigger thanks to a store makeover.
The Market Street store’s refurbishment and extension has seen an extra 50,000 sq ft of retail space added to the ground and first floors. The store’s cleaner and modernised appearance is the result of a year-long project to what is, like it or not, the retail hub of Market Street. There will be a full shop review of the new and improved Primark in the coming weeks.
NEW AND IMPROVED TOPMAN FOR MANCHESTER ARNDALE: The brand new Topman store opened at Manchester Arndale last week and it really is a vast improvement. Having taken up additional space of what was menswear shop Officers Club, the new and improved Topman is now equal to Topshop, upstairs. In addition to more floor space, the new store also features a large personal shopping area complete with a fridge full of beer for men being made over – all free of charge.
The extra space has also meant Topman Manchester has been able to up its game when it comes to brands. Agi & Sam will launch in June, alongside Topman ltd, Criminal Damage, Vision Streewear and Just Hype.
