KICKING off the A-list awards season the BAFTAs were, as always, as much a who's who of designers as they were acting talent.
This year's red carpet featured the expected high designer names such as Valentino, Vivienne Westwood, Givenchy and Pucci, but the one to watch came from the one and only H&M.
Other head-turners of the night included a floor length Valentino sparkly Cinderella gown as seen on Manchester-born actress Holliday Grainger.
Best actress nominee Michelle Williams wore a two tone bespoke dress from the brand, but before you rush to the nearest high street sadly this was bespoke-made by H&M and not straight off the rack.
Other head-turners of the night included a floor length Valentino sparkly Cinderella gown as seen on Manchester-born actress Holliday Grainger and new Bond girl Naomi Harris' canary yellow Pucci number brightened up the otherwise tame red carpet.
Over in the black Vivienne Westwood corset face-off Meryl Streep came out victorious over Christina Hendricks who quite frankly looked like she'd over baked the bread, so to speak. And there were more horrors where that one came from including Edith Bowman's shapeless sack of a Dior dress complete with granny gloves. Take a look at the hits and misses for yourself...
