At Junction, we’re proud to celebrate the women keeping our space running and welcoming every day. This International Women’s Day, we’re spotlighting three incredible team members: Abi, one of our chefs, has been in the industry for nearly 12 years. Her love for cooking started in childhood, and she’s passionate about learning and growing in the kitchen. Her advice for young female chefs? "Just do it, stick to it, and don’t let anyone put you down." Kyra, a valued member of our front-of-house team, is inspired by Malala Yousafzai and the work she does for women’s education. She thrives on the energy and variety of guests at Junction, always providing top-tier service with a smile. Gina, who has been with us for just 3 months, draws inspiration from her sister, who overcame a serious illness and is now healthy. Gina’s advice to younger women is to “be happy where you are and realise how far you’ve come.” Her proudest career moment was earning her Master’s in International Relations, and she loves working with such great colleagues at Junction. Thank you to Abi, Kyra, Gina and all of the women in hospitality making a difference
