The Reach at Piccadilly lends its design influence to the city’s rich industrial heritage. Located on Ducie Street, the 11-storey building towers over the Rochdale Canal, which was once used to transport coal across the city; the hotel’s bespoke concept and decor draws much inspiration from this locale. 🌟 At The Reach, we’re incredibly proud to support East Manchester Community Boat Project —our charity of choice. Last year, with the generosity of our team and guests, we helped raise nearly £6,000 to support their amazing work. Founded in 1994, EMCBP has spent 30 years providing free canal boat trips for disabled and disadvantaged children and adults. Their impact is remarkable—over 50,000 passengers have experienced the joy and freedom of the waterways thanks to their efforts. A highlight of 2024 was meeting HRH Princess Anne, who joined EMCBP in celebrating this incredible milestone. It was a privilege to stand alongside such a dedicated organisation and see their work recognised at the highest level.
