What is now being described as the ‘cost of living crisis’, Food Club visits have remained consistently high going into 2023. Between our three hubs, an average of 1,200 food items a day are leaving our shelves to alleviate the financial pressure of a weekly shop for our clients.
We are always in need of ambient food items for our Food Clubs, so if you’re part of a community group, company, College, Church Synagogue or Mosque and would like to help keep us stocked, please get in touch by emailing information@mustardtree.org.uk, or by calling 0161 228 7331.
Items we are currently in need of:
FOOD
Tinned items (meatballs, ravioli, vegetables, new potatoes, fruit, fish, rice pudding)
Cereal
Bread
UHT milk
Sugar
Tea bags
Gluten Free items
DONATING ITEMS
If donations can fit into a car, we would be grateful if you could drop them off at our hubs during opening times (they can be left outside our shutters to minimise contact). For larger food donations, we can arrange a collection – please call 0161 850 2282 or email information@mustardtree.org.uk to arrange.
Unfortunately, we are usually unable to collect small food and clothing donations, so please ensure you have your own transport to get the items to us. If you are planning a collection, please email information@mustardtree.org.uk to arrange a suitable time to bring it to one of our hubs or call 0161 850 2282.
If you would like to arrange a free collection for furniture and/or white goods, please visit our furniture donation page.
