Breakfast is called ‘the most important meal of the day,’ and few would miss out on dinner. But lunch is often rushed, forgotten or skipped altogether.
At WOOD Manchester, we have two options that will remind you how lovely a good lunch can be: a five-course blind tasting menu for days when your only aim is to relax, and a theatre menu for those afternoons when time is of the essence.
In the mood for a leisurely lunch? Then take the opportunity to try our five-course blind tasting menu for just £45.
Available Tuesday to Saturday from midday until 2.15pm, it’s a surprise banquet of texture and taste, created by MasterChef winner Simon Wood, using the best seasonal produce.
No plans for the afternoon? Add an accompanying wine flight for £25 and enjoy a paired wine with each course.
If lunch is just the start of your afternoon out, opt for our great-value theatre menu, which gives you two courses for £22.50 or three courses for £27.50.
The menu captures the essence of Simon Wood's simple fine-dining with options including mackerel escabeche and baby beetroot, and flat iron steak with haricot vert and purple potato salad.
It's served from midday till 2.15pm Tuesday to Saturday (and early evening - see menu for details).
