Our NQ food and drink hideaway is based on the infamous NY bar on East 45th Street, The Pen and Pencil, a haunt of journalists and ad men – the real life Mad Men of their day.
With this in mind, we asked Dyna Moe, a talented US artist who specialises in all things Mad Med to create a new drinks menu for us, mixing up her signature Mad Men style with Manchester’s best ads.
It gives you something to think about as you ponder over a Humito Rosado or a Mazzaberry.

From clever cocktails that taste of summer (hello fab-tini, ode to everyone’s favourite ice lolly) to slow complex sippers like our Chocolate Orange Boulevardier, we are known across the city for our cocktail menu and our new additions show that isn’t going to change anytime soon.
Our drinks menu also includes a good selection of wines, ciders and beers from some of our favourite craft names like Beavertown and Magic Rock.
