Located directly below the restaurant, The Art School Cellars is the place for everything from a post-prandial brandy to a party.
Just like the restaurant, it’s full of character and a great place to relax with a cocktail — with a new special every week — or a full-bodied bottle of red and a charcuterie board. The wine list is renowned for its quality, winning the AA Notable Wine List Award, so as you’d expect, there’s an emphasis on quality with classics done well whilst their own creations strike a playful note.
It’s also the place where they serve a much-loved afternoon tea on an arresting stainless-steel Ferris wheel stand. It’s quite a centrepiece but the real visual fireworks come from the afternoon tea itself.
Sandwiches and sweets are made in The Art School kitchen with the same level of love as the dishes on the tasting menu.
Offering standard, prosecco and Champagne level afternoon teas, with a vegetarian menu also available.
The Art School Cellars also includes The Tasting Room, an intimate space for up to ten guests where a dedicated sommelier will be on hand to guide you through the complex relationship between food and wine.
You can also hire The Art School Cellars for exclusive use. In the past hosting business conferences, cocktail competitions and private celebrations. Whatever the event, get in touch.
