Fancy a taste of our fine-dining menu without a full-blown tasting? restaurant MCR head chef Aiden Byrne and the team have devised a three-course set menu especially for lunchtimes, letting you enjoy a shorter dining experience without us having to compromise on quality.
As with our tasting menus, the choices of starter, main course and dessert change regularly to reflect regional and seasonal availability and to showcase the North West’s most outstanding ingredients. Sample mains, at the moment, include braised short rib of beef with eryngii mushrooms, Secretto and Txogitxu steak tartar or butter-poached sole, morel mushrooms, cockles and whey cream.
Our three-course lunch menu is served Wednesday to Saturday 12 noon to 2.30pm, priced £35 – perfect for lunch with colleagues, clients, friends or family.
