The Midland Hotel’s famous Christmas tree will be in pride of place and our festive menu will go live on Friday 25 November.
Every dish is full of exquisite flavour and flair from our signature Midland smoked salmon with pickled cucumber, dill emulsion and caviar to a luxurious take on turkey – rolled breast wrapped in Parma ham and served with the ultimate accompaniments: sage and onion stuffing, thyme and garlic roasted potatoes, roasted parsnips and carrots, chipolata, sage butter Brussels sprouts.
Vegetarian options are equally tempting with a butternut, spinach and goats cheese wellington making a very special centrepiece.
Finish on a high with dishes like mulled wine and poached pear Opera cake – everyone’s favourite wintry foods together in one dessert.
Enjoy the flavours of Christmas with elements such as a cured halibut and fennel terrine, a honey glazed roasted butternut with wild mushrooms, mushroom ketchup and roasted chestnuts, a mushroom and roasted parsnip pie with savoy cabbage and spelt barley and roasted Yorkshire beef fillet with rosti potato, port braised red cabbage, glazed onions and roasted foie gras.
Of course, on Christmas Day you can always choose turkey and at Mount Street, ours is particularly indulgent.
Desserts include a traditional plum and date Christmas pudding and a selection of cheese and biscuits.
Christmas is a family affair so we also have a children’s three-course Christmas menu featuring everything from soup and sausages to turkey and chocolate Yule log.
Our Christmas menu is priced at £115pp and £55pp for children though children age six and under eat free.
