At Mount Street Dining Room and Bar we strive to live up to our stunning setting; Manchester’s historic Midland Hotel.
That means going back to basics with our ingredients and how we cook them. We source locally for the freshest produce, and we do all our preparation in-house: from butchering to baking to pickling and smoking. It’s the only way to get the depth of flavour we aim for in every dish.
It also means taking a sensitive approach to our surroundings. We’ve brought out the vintage glamour of this beautiful building by emphasising its best features: the natural light through the grand windows, the dark wood paneling, the tiled floors and velvet seating.

Our all-day menu brings you classic British dishes cooked from scratch in-house. Enjoy a homemade pie or South Yorkshire beef cooked over an open flame.
On Sundays we serve roast dinner, and there’s a children’s menu for family dining.
